Health News and Information

How's Your Heart?

February is American Heart Month and a good time to assess your heart health. This is important because heart disease is the No. 1 killer of both men and women, but it can be prevented. Making healthier choices and getting heart screenings can help. Baptist Memorial Health Care’s Heart & Vascular Tests and Procedures page provides information about the different tests available.

Spread the Word

You can raise awareness of heart disease and stroke by sharing information about heart disease risks, symptoms and prevention with your congregation. Your congregation can also choose a day to wear red in support of American Heart Month. Be sure to use the hashtag BaptistHealthyCommunities on any photos you share on social media.
